Dissolution of Lebanon’s Government

The massive explosion in Beirut, Lebanon that took place on 4th August 2020 shook the nation as well as the world after the explosion of 2700 tones of Ammonia which killed around 170 people and wounded about 6000 people gave a spark to nationwide violent protest of Lebanon’s people against the Lebanon Government.
Hundreds of protesters pelted stones, fireworks and Molotov cocktails at the security forces in return of which security forces released tear gas on the protesters.
Lebanon government is one the most corrupt government due to which people of Lebanon told not to fund Lebanon government directly instead give money to the independent charities for their help. After all this protest, the prime minister of Lebanon, Hassan Diab addressed the nation and announced his resignation and also of his government. He compared the blast to an earthquake that rocked the country and said “We have decided to stand with people” and resigned.

Rahat Indori’s Death

On 11th August 2020 we got the news of a famous Urdu poet Rahat Indori death. He was also bollywood lyricist and a painter too. He was born on 1st August 1950 and was former professor of Urdu. He performed mushaira and kavi sammelan throughout the world and for more than 40-45 years.

He had done PhD in Urdu language from Bhoj University of M.P in 1985.

He was tested positive for COVID-19 on 10th August and was admitted in Aurobindo Hospital in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. He died due to cardiac arrest next day i.e on 11th August.

Through all these disturbing news a good and postive news have come from Russia.

COVID-19 Vaccine

President of Russia, Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday that Russia had become the world’s first country to grant regulatory approval of COVID-19 vaccine after less than two months of human testing. The vaccine still had to complete the final trails raising concerns among some experts at the speed of its approval. Russia also said that is will start mass production of the vaccine by end of the year.
Kirrill Dmitriev, head of Russia’s sovereign wealth fund compared this development as historic “Sputnik Moment”, the lanch of Sputnik-1, world’s 1st satellite. He also said that the vaccine will be marketed under the name “Sputnik v” on foreign market.
The words said by Putin in government meeting “I know that it works quite effectively, forms strong immunity and I repeat, it has passed all the needed check”. He also added that one of the vaccine had been administrated to one his daughter.
